Labor and marketing are two of the most critical issues facing the green industry, and both of these areas are closely related to the growing Hispanic population in the US. The ability to communicate effectively in the Spanish language and an appreciation of Latin-American culture are essential skills for successful green industry professionals.
With this in mind, Kukulcan has developed with Texas A&M University (among other universities) a Spanish Immersion program that provides a unique learning opportunity related to the Floriculture and Marketing fields. Cuernavaca´s climate is ideal for ornamental plants, landscapes and gardens. The state of Morelos is a major center for the production of floricultural crops.
